The iTunes Music Store
If you know me at all, you know I’ve been waiting very impatiently for this to launch in Australia for a long time. And all this week, I’ve been umming and ahhing about what my celebratory first purchase would be.
Today Mr Crumpet answered that when he came running to the bathroom with his laptop and showed me his screen through the shower door. Our friends, The Steinbecks are now in the iTunes Music Store! OMG! We didn’t have Recorded Music Salon, the only album there so far. But now we do.

Orange-mine-a

I’m too tired to post much now, but I will say that I celebrated my return to Melbourne with a finished Orangina. I used Heirloom 4-ply cotton in green. This is such a gorgeous colour, and I find that Heirloom yarns are really nice to work with. I’ve just bought some of their 8-ply cotton in Fuchsia to make ‘Accidentally on Purpose’ from SnBN.
And something else I’ve been working on…

Rowr.
In shop soon.

Fossil Head
After five or six visits out here, I’ve finally made it out to the famed Fossil Head. Everybody loves Fossil Head out here, and I can see why. I even found a rattle rock (a rock with another rock inside that rattles when you shake it) and got permission to take it home (and a few other lovely rocks — I have a thing for rocks).
Here are some of my favourite photos, and you can tell from these that I also have a thing for over-exposure (although some of the wash-out is due to compression of the files as I save them for the internet).

Only in the Northern Territory
I actually took this photo last time I was here (June) but only remembered to post it now that I’m back again. It’s in Adelaide River, on the road from Darwin to Wadeye. The Adelaide River Social Society. Yeah. Right.
