I’m too tired to post much now, but I will say that I celebrated my return to Melbourne with a finished Orangina. I used Heirloom 4-ply cotton in green. This is such a gorgeous colour, and I find that Heirloom yarns are really nice to work with. I’ve just bought some of their 8-ply cotton in Fuchsia to make ‘Accidentally on Purpose’ from SnBN.
And something else I’ve been working on…

Rowr.
In shop soon.
Your orangina’s lovely. I really like the idea of wearing a contrasting tank under it to add more colour.

I ended up here by searching for other people’s oranginas. I love your green orangina! It looks really great.

Hey, I’ve been meaning to ask you something, I saw ‘Serenity’ this weekend (yes, it was awesome!) but is ‘Firefly’ ruined forever for me now or if I go and pick up the DVD will I still be entertained?
Do I know too much?
thanks heaps for your help.

Nope, it’s certainly not ruined for you. Obviously, it’s best to see them in order if you can, but you’ll still love the series no matter what.

cool, thanks for that.

Oh yay! If I can get the guts up to make Orangina I’m going to make it in green. You can’t get Heirloom here but there’s a kelly green in another brand that I’ve been eyeing up for ages, waiting for the right project to come along. It’s so hard to find the right green in yarn!

Go on! Make it! It looks somewhat complicated, but it’s actually pretty easy.

I know I’m ages late, but Jodi just linked to this page to show off your Orangina (which is lovely, by the way!), and I saw the Firefly pins. Completely fab. I love the Zoe. And I love that Jayne’s wearing his special hat. Where’s Mal?

Just linked here for the first time from Jodi’s website and had to say that I love the pins – I too appreciate the fact that you have Jayne wearing the hat that his mother knit for him. Yahoo for Firefly and Orangina!

Thanks Carla and emmieyaza — glad you like the badges!
The Mal badge does exist — it’s just not in that photo because I made it earlier than the rest, along with a Joss badge. You can see them in my shop.
