Here we go with an extraordinarily image heavy post…
Today, this happened.

That’s knitted, ends woven in, seamed, blocked and zipperified in 16 days. I get gold!
16 days of blood (well, maybe not blood), sweat (so much sweat, so much knitting in only my underwear — after my little brother had gone home anyway), tears, houseguests, stocktake, enormous work hours, uni orientation, an extra day of uni orientation, a Tegan and Sara gig and a Steinbecks gig.
Yesterday, this happened.

And while the party wasn’t a total surprise, all of the following things were. And greatly loved and appreciated surprises at that.
From Purps:

From Lakey and Sunny:

Further on the garden vibe, this was from my brother Andrew and sister-in-law Sue:

From Justin:

From Vetti and Geoff, name art that I think will go to my studio space at school, and also the greatest t-shirt ever:

From Kym and Giz…
Tupperware icy pole makers…

and the totally awesome and rad….
Knitmaster!

I remember that we decided on a name for the Knitmaster — does anyone remember what it was?
Anyway, hooray and yay and thankyous!
Incredible! And that t-shirt is definitely the coolest tshirt ever.
