(an update on my Jayne Cobb Bobble hat – I have done the bulk of the work and need only to add the ear flaps and the bobble but I am having trouble adding the ear flaps . . . any hints??!!)
Seeeeee, there’s knowing how to do something and actually being ABLE to do it. I have issues with the second part . . . I always sod it up and it ends up looking like shite. I will steal a look at that article though, thanks!! I’ll keep you up to date . . .

do you know how to pick up stitches? this article on knitty is an excellent reference, with some great photos of the process used.

well, with picking up stitches, even if you screw it up and it looks like shite, you can just pull it out with no harm done.
