I’ve finally added some links back to the rest of my website in the sidebar. One day it’ll all be designed proper, I promise! And one day I’ll also give the whole site a Big Damn Overhaul. Perhaps when this semester is over…

It’s a GIRL BOY!
Harvey Krumpet Gosling was born this week, the third and final of the Andrew babies.
He’s extraordinarily cute and lovely, and the first baby ever to happily fall asleep in my arms.

I made things for Harvey Gosling. Well, the red cardigan was for my nephew Tom, but I accidentally got really busy, and by the time I was able to see him again, he was just getting too big for it. So Tom will get a special summer cotton cardigan instead. And maybe a hat to match.
First up, Trellis from Knitty. I knew I had to make this for the Gosling as soon as I saw the pattern. Six months ago. It was my training for the Knitting Olympics, and I learned how to cable without a cable needle on this one.

Wadeye on Sunday
Just got a message from my sister and future-brother-in-law (that was the other exciting news I couldn’t talk about yet — my sister Emma got engaged! I didn’t want to say anything just incase any family members didn’t know yet and accidentally read my blog first…). There will be a 40-minute story on Wadeye tomorrow morning, on the ABC Sunday program, just incase anyone wants to watch. Wadeye is where Emma taught for five years, Dom (f-b-i-l) grew up, and I worked as a tutor for a while.
More from flickr
Here’s all the photos that I just uploaded to flickr…
I’ve only been able to create three sets on the free account for now… maybe one day I’ll have the USD $24.95 for a paid account…
There will be more photos to come — these are just the ones I used to have on the photo section of my website. There’s been a whole bunch more taken since then…

I’ve finally arrived at the realisation that I’m never going to get the photo section of my site up and organised again, and have subsequently opened a flickr account. Check out the first set I’ve uploaded from the Melbourne Music and Blues Festival.

When laziness pays off.
Mr Crumpet: “Sweets, what have you done differently to these tomatoes tonight? They taste fantastic!”
Me: “Um… I burned them…?”

The suspense is killing me.
I’m waiting very impatiently to hear about something that was supposed to happen today (I hope it’s all going, and going okay…), and I also got a call about something else exciting that I can’t talk about yet! ARGH! IT’S ALL TOO MUCH!!!
