Time for some thrilling heroics.
I sent off my Sock Wars socks yesterday! Of course, they have to make it all the way from Australia to Texas, so I may still fall in battle on this first round, but we’ll see. No sign of a package at my door yet. 
Also, I realised at the post office yesterday that my socks are 100% wool. Machine washable, sure, but 100% wool DK weight, and on their way to Texas…! Apologies about that, Lynn.

Why is Clerks II only showing at two cinemas in Melbourne? I know it’s been out a couple of weeks already, but c’mon…
Anyway, we made the trek to Highpoint (shudder… I hate big shopping centres with a fiery passion) tonight. And I can’t remember laughing that hard in the cinema for a long, long time.

In other news, the combined evil powers of Kris and Tally have sucked me back in to the Idol vortex, and I’m watching my first episode for the season. And now Channel 10 are trying to suck me in for the night by advertising a double billing of SVU… I’d forgotten actual real-time television existed, I haven’t watched it for so long.
