My sister-in-law gave me a sushi making device for Christmas, and you can make (slightly) heart-shaped sushi with it. I figured that now was the time to give it a whirl. I think I’ll stick to my bamboo rolling mat in the future, as I prefer my sushi in long rolls, but it was fun.
As Mr Crumpet doesn’t exactly share my sushi passion, I made some Japanese noodles with shitake mushrooms, Asian greens and teriyaki sauce as a side dish. Mmmm… mushrooms…
