I was making badges one day for the Etsy store, had the idea and just couldn’t resist. I sent these to Adam and Sam as a little podcast birthday gift, along with a couple of DVDs (Looking for Alibrandi because it’s awesome and unavailable in the USA, and Jindabyne for it’s Laura Linney-ness, if yr interested.)

I’m done. 28 paintings in 28 days* in my 28th year.

I’ve also reworked the first painting because I didn’t like it anymore. More pics later. Today, work. Tonight, the first birthday dinner of the season.

*Well, I actually finished the painting part in less than 28 days, but it is February, and I still have the usual finishing touches to go — attaching hanging bits, varnishing, etc..

I can’t believe I’m this terrified and excited about listening to a podcast. There’s 51 seconds remaining on my download of Filmspotting Episode #149, where Adam and Sam will finally review my favourite film ever, The Iron Giant. If they don’t like it, I might actually cry.
