Comic timing.
Lately, it seems as if my life is a skit comedy show. First there was the curious incident of the chilli in the kitchen, then on Wednesday, I was in class and we were going through some of the new OH&S stuff. We were in the acid room learning how to properly clean and etch our copper plates, and were almost done when Richard, our lecturer, said something to the effect of “We do work in a very dangerous environment, but I promise you, this is the safest it’s ever been.” At which point the perfect silence was broken by a thunderous burst as the fume hood kicked in. It was very funny.
