It all went horribly wrong.
I was knitting a beautiful sock with beautiful yarn.
It fit over my foot. It looked lovely. I knit all the way to the end and grafted the toe perfectly. I wove in all the ends.
Later that day I tried to pull the sock on over my heel.
Frogging it is.
To take my mind off that travesty, I pulled out the crack cocaine Noro Kureyon Shade 88. Just looking at it makes me feel all soft and fuzzy inside. If you ever want to buy me something but don’t know what… Noro Kureyon Shade 88. Or shade 150.
I finally made the tea cosy I’ve been promising to a school friend for months. Such instant gratification. I’m now making a slightly smaller version from Shade 150 for the Ravelry Aussie Tea Cosy Swap, and I’m nearly finished that too! Hooray! I’ve forgotten all about my sad, sad Jaywalker already!

The yarn is Lana Grossa Meilenweit 100 Colortweed in colour 1004. It’s really lovely yarn. I loved making these socks, and before I (tried to) put it on it looked absolutely perfect. But it just wasn’t meant to be…

that cosy is lovely - your going to make one swap pal very happy
too bad about the Jay’s - they were looking great. I found mine very tight to get on and off, but they fit well once on. Go figure.
good luck with the next attempt!

Oh no! I hear that is a common jaywalker problem. What is the yarn? It really is lovely.
