Paul’s aunt Jill was diagnosed with motor neurone disease a little over two years ago. She died on Friday.
It’s difficult, being torn between sadness and the feeling of relief that it’s over. MND fucking sucks.

Crumpet my thoughts are with you and Paul and his family, my Dad passed away from complications due to MND 4 years ago and it is hard to have the grieve and relief at the same time. As they suffer so much it is a blessing to be released from the disease but this does not change the fact that they are no longer around. All my love missfee

Nothing wrong with feeling relieved, an end to something horrendous must be good. Doesn’t sit well with grieving, but what does? Not something you’d wish on anyone.
Thinking of you and Paul, xx
