All night I’ve been stuck in the “oh, but this render will only take two minutes” cycle, where I work on my animation and do a render with the intent to get up and cook dinner when it’s done. And then the render finishes, and I think, “oh, but that other bit isn’t quite right now” or, “I may as well just do that bit too.” At 10pm, I realised that I hadn’t eaten dinner… and on further reflection I realised that I hadn’t even started to cook dinner.
Editing is a trap. A magical, wonderful trap.
