Mind you, by London standards, not so bad. My flat has horrible marks all over the walls where previous tenants have used blu tack and sellotape, and the bathroom ceiling is horrible – there’s no extractor fan so even though I regularly scrub the mildew off the ceiling, the stains remain. Some perspective for you perhaps?
Did he say 380? Like three hundred and eighty dollars? A week? That’s insane.
Also, I love how he’s totally grossed out and is all ‘this is the sort of place you kill people’ and then moments later in a really cheery voice ‘ok, let’s go upstairs’.
What a shame, such a big place but so nasty.

So… without wanting to be nasty – how does it compare with, say, Heathmont?

Heathmont house was far better. Still doesn’t make it good enough for us to live in, or the rooms large enough to fit our furniture.
