The way to someone’s heart
New artwork created for the Port Art Collective Art Crawl, Culture Night 2023, Portarlinton, Laois, Ireland. These artworks explore themes of immigration and racism through the lens of the Gold Rush and Chinese history in my home town, Ballarat, and the influence it had on Australian culture, political policy and food. The images show poster style screen print and woodcut art depicting dim sims, a common snack food available in Australian (specifically Victorian) chip shops.
